An occupancy permit from Community Fire Protection District is required prior to occupying any commercial building or building space within the district. An application must be submitted with an application fee of $100 (Complete Permit Fee Schedule can be downloaded below). This fee covers an occupancy permit inspection and one re-inspection. This application does not authorize occupancy. An occupancy permit will be issued after an inspection assures that the occupancy has no violations.
Upon application and payment, the district will call to schedule an occupancy permit inspection. This inspection will determine if the building or space complies with the ordinances of Community Fire Protection District. When inspections determine that no violations exist, an occupancy permit will be issued.
PLEASE NOTE: The District does not require occupancy permits for residential occupancies.
